A Taste of Italy

Hi All: We, Al and I just spent a wonderful weekend at out son Matt's home
in Wisc. Sunday we decided to go to " A little Taste of Italy" Annie
Schieber's new restaurant. Her and her partner(sorry I forgot his name) gave
us a wonderful tour through their menu. Explaining all the wonderful foods,
and how they are prepared. Of course I told them we were there to critique
the food.
Started out with a glass of wine, we started our journey. 1st on the
list was Annie's Cheesy Garlic bread( she makes all her own breads and pizza
crusts) Aunt Flo told us we had to try that, it was really good. 2nd was a
Chicago style pizza, with Annie's homemade crust, WHOOOOLALA. Then we tried
the lasagna, not the usual, but very delightful and rich. Then we tried the
homemade bread pudding, OH MY GOD I should have gotten more to go, but by
then my brain was full. We should have tried the Anti pesto but I couldn't
eat any more. Pictures attached, it's a wonderful cozy atmosphere with hand
painted murals all around. My kind of place.
I think we should plan a Sunday afternoon trip, it's only 1 1/2 hr.
drive, and Annie said she thought Mike, and maybe Uncle John and Flo would meet us
there. ????
