Save this Date!!

July 6, 2013
I’m planning the Family Reunion for the Saturday after the 4th of July.

Mark your Calendar.  The Schoeneckers and Kieckers are planning it to be just Saturday from 10 till 6 p.m. at Bunker Hills County Park in Coon Rapids, MN. There is camping available in the park as well as a Waterpark and wave pool.  We will supply burgers, brats and hot dogs and the fixings for lunch at noon, and we ask that you bring a dish to share.  Salads, chips and desserts would be great. We will have a picnic area next to a softball field where we can play our family softball tournament.  I will let you set up your own teams, team Theresa will be there to defend their 4 time winning record.  If we can’t come up with 3 teams, we will hopefully play against one team.
Rules include:  you must have as many adults as youth under 16 on each team.  We will play only 6 innings for each game or one hour whichever comes first.  Unless a tie, and then they will play equal innings till the tie is broken.
More details as time passes.  But grandson Will can’t wait for the tournament!!! Watch the Cousins Chronicle Emails or the CC Blog.

Here is my Christmas Letter for all those who didn't get it:
December 2012

Dearest Friends and Family,
I am home for the Holiday….but soon thereafter; I’m off for a bucket list  trip to Hawaii!  I will be gone from the 10-23rd of Jan.  Cousin Judy, June and June’s husband Len have invited Judy and me to join them at their time share.
In February I plan on riding with Bonnie to Sedona, and stopping at Kathleen and Gary’s on our way.
In May I’m going to Holland with Judy and her sister-in-law Annie. Then Judy and I will travel to Switzerland to see Karen and Reudi.  That’s my travel plans right now but I’m sure more will be added.
Yesterday I got the results from my CTscan and I’m Stable for the second time in a row.  The doctor told me to do what makes me happy….and I plan on doing just that.
Last year was filled with travel and family at the cabin.  I traveled to Myrtle Beach in January.  Boston in May for a friend’s son’s wedding.  Then later in the month to Naperville for Emily’s graduation with Ann and Doug and family.
All kinds of family gathered  in June and July at the cabin including Kathleen and Gary and Gary’s mom, Karen’s parents who came from FL. for Emily’s graduation party at the cabin, and Kennedy’s birthday party which is tradition to celebrate at the cabin too.
In the Fall I traveled to the North Shore with cousin Judy and friends Bonnie and Lois to find Gene’s bench I had placed on the shore of Lake Superior in Gooseberry Falls State Park.  This was the first time I saw it in person…and actually sat on it.
In October Bonnie and I traveled by train to Milwaukee where she visited her brother and I got picked up by Tom to spend the weekend.  I got to see Kennedy play one hockey game, but missed Will’s as the train was late in getting to Mpls.
All the families are doing well so I’ll only tell you a few things about the grandkids:
Jack is working for his dad as a tire tech at the Inver Grove Tire’s Plus and loving it.
Emily is at the U of I/Bloomington Normal and also loving it.
Nicole and Allie are both playing hockey on the varsity team at CRHS.
Nick turned 16 and got his Drivers License.  He also still loves Baseball for Anoka HS.
Katie and Tommy are skiing on the Varsity Cross Country Ski Teams.
All 4 (Nicole, Allie, Katie and Tommy) run track in the spring and run on the Cross Country Track Teams in the Fall for CRHS. They all are doing well in school (including Nick) and are active in various activities.
Kennedy now in Middle School is playing hockey and active in scouts and plays the viola.
Will is on a traveling Hockey team and loves many other sports, like baseball and soccer.
Matthew is a  1st grader and is loving school.  He plays hockey, baseball, and soccer.
Presley also a 1st grader is a dancer on a competition team, and continues to be a diva.
I am feeling great and will continue chemo every two weeks to keep the cancer at bay.
Hope you have a Blessed Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year, Mary
